ATA Inc. (ATA) is a provider of computer-based testing services in the People’s Republic of China. The Company offer services for the creation and delivery of computer-based tests utilizing the test delivery platform, testing technologies and providing testing services. The computer-based testing services are used for professional licensure and certification tests in various industries, including information technology (IT) services, banking, teaching, insurance and accounting. The computer-based testing services clients include professional associations, such as the China Banking Association and the Securities Association of China, and Chinese governmental agencies, including the PRC Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. As of March 31, 2009, the test centre network of the Company comprised of 1925 test centers. In February 2009, the Company completed the acquisition of Beijing Jindixin Software Technology Company Limited (Beijing JDX) and JDX Holdings Limited (JDX BVI).
