China Shipping Development Company Limited is principally engaged in provision of marine cargo transportation services. The Company provides Chinese coastal and international marine cargo transportation services. It operates its businesses through transportation of oil products, which deals with original oil and oil products; bulk goods transportation, which deals with products, such as coal, iron minerals, steel and iron products, cement, timbers, crops, agricultural chemicals and chemical fertilizers, among others, as well as leasing of ships. During the year ended December 31, 2009, the Company obtained approximately 56% and 32% of its total revenue from oil products transportation and coal transportation, respectively.
