Green Dragon Gas Ltd. is an investment holding company. The Company, along with its subsidiaries is engaged in the exploration, development and production of coal bed methane in the People's Republic of China (PRC) and distribution and sales of gas in China. The coal bed methane operations in the PRC are conducted through production sharing arrangements with China United Coal Bed Methane Corporation Ltd. (CUCBM) and PetroChina. As of December 31, 2009, it operated in six segments: sale of CBM gas; well drilling; pipelined gas distribution; gas stations sales; gas filling equipment sales, and corporate.
