Harbin Power Equipment Company Limited, together with its subsidiaries, is engaged in the manufacturer of power plant equipment in the People's Republic of China. The Company operates in five segments: main thermal power equipment, which manufactures main thermal power equipment; main hydro power equipment, which manufactures main hydro power equipment; engineering services, which provides engineering services for power stations; ancillary equipment, which manufactures ancillary equipment for power stations, and alternating current/direct current (AC/DC) motors and others, which manufactures AC/DC motor and others. It manufactures thermal power equipments, including boilers, steam turbines and steam turbine generators with single unit capacity up to 1,000 megawatts heavy-duty gas turbine and combined cycle units.
