Description:
Yanzhou Coal Mining Company Limited (Yanzhou Coal) is engaged in the mining, preparation and sale of coal, as well as the railway transportation of coal. As of December 31, 2009, the Company owned and operated six coal mines: Nantun, Xinglongzhuang, Baodian, Dongtan, Jining II and Jining II (collectively the Six Coal Mines). The Company, through its subsidiaries has interests in a number of coal mines in the People’s Republic of China and Australia. The Company’s products include thermal coal and semi-soft coking coal and semi-hard coking coal, which are suitable for power generation and metallurgical production.
