ZST Digital Networks doesn't plan to fall asleep in front of the TV while everyone else gets rich in China. The company installs television set-top boxes that deliver cable TV, Internet, and telephone connections in Henan, one of China's most populated provinces. It sells broadband boxes and digital networking equipment including optical receivers, transmitters, and amplifiers. ZST works with municipalities and businesses, and has plans to begin offering residential services through a joint venture. Customers include about 30 TV and cable networks in more than 20 cities and counties. The company was formed in early 2009 from various Asian corporate entities; it filed to go public about six months later.
